I had intended to take a break during the cold winter months after the completing the roof, but in the end I couldn't resist pressing on - this is quite addictive!
The basic wall construction is very straightforward. Studwork is 4x2" (100x50mm) treated softwood, stained dark oak like the basic frame and fixed using 2" wide metal brackets (which will therefore not be visible once the external and internal cladding is in place. The exterior cladding is 18mm marine plywood painted with an exterior grade satin finish paint to resemble aged lime plaster and fixed against 2x1" (50x25mm) battens using a strong adhesive and a couple of screws through the battens from the inside.

The battens are positioned so as to allow the dark frame to stand slightly proud of the wall panes one they are fitted, as can be seen below.
The internal wall cladding will be a thinner plywood and will happen later.
