A collaboration between Danelectro and Vincent Bell (of electric sitar fame) in an attempt to create a cross betwen a mandolin and a guitar. A 12-string with a teardrop shape (like a bouzouki or a 'taterbug' mandolin, except flat). It has a thin, jangly, sound that is somewhere between nasal and reedy, with absolutely no sustain.
