A famous form of the electric sitar invented by Vincent Bell in 1967. It employed a novel bridge design that the strings buzzed against, but used regular Dan Electro pickups and neck along with a chambered poplar wood body which was made in Japan. It also employed 12 sympatheitc strings that could be tuned in a variety of ways.
