First brewed in 2005, it is based on a traditional IPA recipe and made from 100% Cornish-grown Maris Otter barley with a blend of hops. It is light, clear and refreshing with an assertive hop bitterness. There are subtle lemon and marmalade aromas. The taste has further hints of citrus, with a dry, bitter, fruity finish.
Occasionally available in cask, but at a reduced strength of 4.5%.
Dedicated to the 32nd Cornish Regiment who stoutly defended their garrison during the Indian Mutiny.
