Sometimes referred to as Beer Chang, it is now believed to be the most popular pale lager brewed in Thailand, having overtaken Singha.
This domestic version is significantly stronger than the 5.0% export version. It is also made from a mixture of malt, rice and hops unlike the 100% malt export version.
It is an amber gold in colour and has slightly more malt flavour than Singha.
