Formed by Pye Records in the early 1960s as an outlet for new acts, including Joe Brown & the Bruvvers, Clinton Ford, the Rockin' Berries, Sounds Orchestral and the Ivy League (later know as the Flower Pot Men).

The label was closed in the 1970s, together with Pye Golden Guinea Records, and was replaced by Dawn Records.
