The standard and most common size of ukulele and is probably what most people will picture when they think of the ukulele. It is the second smallest of the ukulele family and was the original size.
It has the shortest scale and the tightest fret spacing and is ideal for players of any skill or experience level, especially younger players and those with smaller hands and fingers. Due to its size, it also has a brighter, softer tone with less projection and resonance than the larger sizes.
