Barbadian soca artist who is well-known throughout the Caribbean.

His career started in the mid-1980s as a DJ, playing at street jams and parties with his cousin the 'Chihuahua Business Man' (Lil Rick). Inspired by the Barbadian music industry, he began writing lyrics, which quickly led him to start performing.

In 2001, his tune “Rats” placed him in the finals for the Barbados 2001 Party Monarch competition, after which he was in demand to write for several artists, including Alison Hinds.

For Crop Over 2003, he released the huge hit The Pledge (or Blue, Yellow and Black as it is affectionately known), which won him the Best Nation Building song.

Ram has shared the stage with the likes of Beenie Man, Merciless and Elephant Man. At the Digicel launch on Barbados, he appeared with Lil Rick and international reggae stars Shaggy and Bounty Killer and is a guaranteed opening act for most reggae shows on the island.

He expanded his career into acting in 2005 when he appeared in his first feature film,Tek Dem Out. He has also been the face and voice behind Total Sport, a sports brand retail outlet in Barbados for the past 3 years.
