Loose collective regrouped up to 33 artists from various backgrounds ranging from free jazz, classical, contemporary, rock, visual arts and poetry in one avant-garde adventure still unsurpassed in Quebec. Formed in Montreal in 1967, L'Infonie (led by composer Walter Boudreau and poet, singer, trumpeter Raoul Duguay) existed officially until 1974, during which time they released 4 albums and performed several multimedia shows.
