Love's lead guitarist and occasional vocalist. After the breakup of Love, he spent some time cleaning up and then played/recorded with various jazz artists, but was not very visible. When Arthur Lee got together a band to tour as Love With Arthur Lee in 2002, Echols joined for a number of gigs.
