A rock and jazz drummer, most visibly as a member of progressive rock band, King Crimson, a member of David Lindley's El Rayo-X and as Don Henley's drummer.
He worked with many leading artists, including Ry Cooder, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, Jackson Browne, Tim Buckley, the Traveling Wilburys, Eric Clapton and Crosby Stills and Nash.
