Has played with the Penguin Café Orchestra since 1989. He is a violinist, composer and teacher whose career has spanned classical orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic and the London Sinfonietta, scores for the Balanescu Quartet and Royal Ballet and creative music education for the Royal Opera.

He is currently co-director of Serenata Music Education, teaches the violin and is training as a music therapist.
