Formed by producer Mike Vernon as an outlet for blues music. The very earliest records on this label were sold by mail order in 1965-66, but the signing of Fleetwood Mac in 1967 prompted a distribution deal with CBS. Other major artists include Aynsley Dunbar and Chicken Shack.
