A British screenwriter and author. His TV writing credits are extensive, notably including the House of Cards trilogy, but he has also worked on several successful films, including The Tailor of Panama (2001), Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), Brideshead Revisited (2008) and The Three Musketeers (2011).
