In England in the early 1930s, 20 year old Flora Poste, recently orphaned and left with only £100 a year, goes to stay with her eccentric distant relatives on Cold Comfort Farm. Everyone and everything on the gloomy farm is completely chaotic, but Flora sees it her duty to restore order.
